Definitely their best album

Agree. I love the story that this album tells. It's 2005, the world has suffered from numerous terrorist attacks and natural disasters..everyone was kinda depressed: Demon Days. It just fitted perfectly. Brilliant, brilliant album. Have to mention Danger Mouse for the fabulous production..

Well, this did not sell much more than 500,000..but due to being a double album, it got credit for being platinum in the US. Despite all the hype about it being his best album from Rolling Stone, and many others, very few have actually listened to it. Prince had at least 5 songs in his valut at the time that would've blown away the worst 5 on this still brilliant album. Had he released it the way he should have...maybe more people would know. Sadly, they don't. Many rock fans hate him because he plays some R&B, and many R&B fans hate him because he plays rock. Some white fans hate him because he is black, and seems gay, while those same white fans love Elton John who is gay. I never really understand why race and sexual orientation drive somebody's reasoning to judge music.

1. Sign O' the Times is a good album, even if not critically acclaimed
2. Some people don't like Prince cause he acts gay
3. A lot of people like Elton John and he IS gay
That's what I got out of it. I think #1 is the more important point.
