1. The first Sultans Of Swing live version that I ever heard was from this magnificent album
The whole album is amazing, the band was in top form and Once Upon A Time and Telegraph Road are from another world!

    Me too.
    Yes. Yes. And yes.

    Alchemy is a complete YES

  3. Almost the same. Today I've been listening to a compilation I burned myself, made of 45 songs... I obviously have no cover, but yours will serve, so...

My album of the day is:

  4. classic record.
  5. Alter Bridge - ABIII for me

Great album with the best vocals I've ever heard!
  6. Pearl Jam's No Code.

Didn't love it at the time of its release back in 1996 but am really enjoying it these days.

(Still can't get into their 2000's albums after over two weeks of trying.)

  7. Yeah Yeah Yeahs - It's Blitz!
  8. Massive Attack Heligoland

  9. after years of volunteer ignoring this album (i can't bear Axl Rose since the Slash quit) i've decided to give it a shot and i have to say that it's not bad at all

Used to be a HUGE GNR fan...saw then in 1991, 1992, 2002, and 2006. The 2006 show was god awful (1992 show was the best and it was AMAZING). With all due respect (we seem to have many similar tastes in music), I'm not a huge fan at all of Chinese Democracy. Overproduced, imo. Haven't listened to it since 2008 - a month or so after it came out.

  11. yeah it seems so
i nearly loved them since Appetite for destruction, then after one by one abandoned (Slash gave the final hit) the band something in me was broken with GnR.
about overproduction you're surely right .. it couldn't be other way anyway due to the infinite gestation i think
the other albums were much more "sincere", let me pass the word
