    I agree, it's a fantastic album. The only track I don't like, is Mucky Fingers. The rest I love, even though it's not heavily focused on Noel's songwriting. The two tracks written by Bell, Turn Up The Sun and Keep The Dream Alive, are just brilliant. Even Liam shines on this album for me with Love Like A Bomb and The Meaning of Soul.

  7. "Cruel Summer" is the new release from Kanye West's new collaboration project G.O.O.D. Music, and it is phenomenal. The best hip-hop music since, well, The Throne's release last year, and then Kanye's own "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" before that. It really is genuinely great.

    The front half is dirty and heavy on the beat and rap, whereas some tracks on the back half are actually focused on a musical melody and the lyric.

    Upon the first listen, it is my #5 album of the year. So far, I have listened to 62 releases.

  12. Chicago natives Local H dropped a new one yesterday, and it sounds just as good as their best ever. Spotify this if you want some straight up garage rock. The whole band is just two guys, a guitarist/singer and drummer. The guitarist actually had a bass pickup installed on his guitar so that when he's playing chords, the roots come out really low and it sounds like he's playing bass too. Awesome group, talk about stripped down rock n' roll music....

    It's decently produced, but when they play live they really just hammer it out between the two of them and its so real...
