1. actually The Clash are easily one of my 3 bands of life .. i love them and adore Joe Strummers .. great great man.
of course i like Police on my back a lot even if i prefer some others songs.
i'm always pleased to see someone listening something by The Clash
  2. Pearl Jam - You Are

Why the hell have I waited so long to give Riot Act a true listen!?!?!
  3. never too late
  4. What are your opinions of Riot Act? I'll most definitely give it listen in the next two weeks. Currently listening to all of the albums in order of release date, going to listen to No Code soon.

Even Flow - Pearl Jam (Orpheum, Boston, 1994)
  5. No Code has some great tracks - Sometimes, Hail Hail, IN MY TREE, Who You Are, Off He Goes, Habit, Present Tense...the others are okay, in my opinion.

It's still too early for me to comment on Riot Act except that Save You is awesome.
  6. U2 - North Star

The 1:40 studio version someone posted on the NS thread the other day... Not sure if I like it above the live acoustic version, or at all.
  7. Can't Stop - RHCP

the studio version can definitely not stand up to the live version, imo

There aren't many U2 songs that have studio versions that stand up to their live version.

It is perhaps the best one ever. Milan 2009 and Washington 1992 are of course magic as well.
