1. It's an amazing album, being re-released for the 15th anniversary on double purple vinyl.
  2. I have listened to this so much lately - such a beautiful song, can't fight the feeling. Had no idea Marillion had gotten this good over the years.

The preconception with a lot of people is that they were stuck in the vein of the previous singers era. Thankfully Steve Hogarth steered them into what is effectively a new band.

I didn't dislike the previous incarnation of Marillion but this chap certainly brings a very different dynamic.

  4. I love this album to bits. I first heard of them whilst listening through the hundreds of recordings I have of Guy Garvey's Finest Hour radio show on BBC6 Music.

Record them every week and this band features in the playlist a lot.

I have a double picture disc version of Z. Such a beautiful album.

  5. The Smiths - London

  6. Fields Of The Nephilim - Psychonaut (Lib. III) (Live at Brixton Academy 1990)

  7. ICEHOUSE-Great Southern Land (Live 2012)

I think Z and Evil Urges are their best studio albums, however they are one of those bands where the songs come in to their own when played live. Okonokos is a stunning piece of work. They play some strange but brilliant covers too!

  9. Fleet Foxes - Mykonos
