1. the start of that song is simply fantastic!!!
well Van Halen David Lee Roth era are amazing indeed .. the debut album is in the Olympus of rock
  2. Van Halen (self-titled album) and 1984 are two classic albums. Van Halen II is a great album, but I wouldn't rate it as 'classic'. After Roth left, it all went downhill quickly.
  3. Play the game- Queen live
  4. U2 - I Fall Down

  5. Yesterday i listened to a show ( 11-5-81 in Denver) and Bono introduced this "new" song like : " When I fall down"
  6. Lift (Live) - Radiohead

i would add Fair Warning to those two .. yeah right the Van Hagar were commercial crap since the beginning

  8. Never listened to Fair Warning. I have it on my iTunes though. Ugh, Sammy Hagar: one of the many fairly bad musicians.
  9. take a listen to Mean Street

I'll check that out, I have listened to that Denver show a couple of times (Hodel brought us an upgrade a few years ago: 1981-05-11 - Denver (Pre-FM SBD) but I never noticed Bono saying that.

U2 - A Day Without Me / Dear Prudence (snippet)

Live from Devore, 1983-05-30. Best version ever? Probably. One of those snippets that gets stuck in your head, and then you can't avoid singing it when listening to any other version of the song (including the studio one). Brilliant.
