Please is excellent, particularly live. Seems to be massively underplayed in my iTunes library though...

  9. Yes. The versions from Rotterdam and Mexico City are just unreal. Right now I'm listening to the version from Baltimore on the Elevation tour. It's got a unique sound in Edge's guitar playing during the first couple of verses that wasn't used on the Popmart tour. The transition into Streets is the same, though.

    BTW happy birthday, Tim!
  10. The version of Please at Baltimore on the Elevation show was somewhat lackluster. It sounded nowhere near as good as the Popmart versions. That was a shame. After that, they moved to the acoustic performances, which were actually decent.
  11. Perhaps it needed more rehearsal time. Maybe they could have rehearsed it in soundchecks and played it a the last few shows in electric form.

The acoustic versions showed the song in a different light that fit the post 9-11 months perfectly. Very haunting rendition in Miami.

Shh...no-one should know. Rotterdam and Mexico are amazing, great that they've been made available in commercial releases. Other shows feature perfectly good performances as well though.
