1. Charlotte Martin - Steel

Beautiful voice and wonderful instrumentation, yet I'd never heard of her.
  2. Meat Is Murder - Morrissey (live from Glastonbury 2011)

breathtaking. a really ballsy move playing this, nice to see some outspoken activism added back to the festival that ISN'T based on disrupting the headline set.
  3. What A Wonderful World/Fix You - Coldplay live from Glastonbury
I never liked Fix You too much but that was purely epic
  4. Guns N' Roses - Mr Brownstone

    What a fucking album.

  5. I enjoyed it but I coudln't stop thining "Well, he HAS to do a U2 tribute now, he owes it to Bono, maybe now? Oh, no... And now? Oh no"... It kinda ruined the intro for me. Still disappointed that they didn't do a nice little U2 snippet. Disappointed.
  6. yeah it kinda sucks they didn't do one, but i don't think it's a big deal at all, certainly doesn't stop me from calling it a 10/10 performance. it's not like they were obliged to reciprocate.

    Every Teardrop - Coldplay

just downloaded the new EP, first listen now.
  7. Of course they weren't obliged to reciprocate, but everyone agreed (not only here, but press, Coldplay fans, U2 fans, audience, etc) that singing Yellow (moreover with a strong audience participation) was a very very nice gesture by Bono/U2, and the normal thing is that Chris/Coldplay had sent it back. It doesn't even needed to feature a singalong by the audience... just another small gesture like that Wonderful World snippet, he could have snippetted All I Want Is You there (it fits with the Fix You theme AND chords).

Coldplay - A Rush Of Blood To The Head

One of my favs. Last song before I'm back to studying
  8. Listen To Your Love - Mona

    what a killer tune.

Agree. Bono is now the "nice guy" and Chris Martin the unappreciative underling.

MLK would work well in that spot
  11. Another Time Another Place - cd version
