1. Really? Did you sleep outside the ticketoffice on two occasions?

    Jealous!
  2. These Editors dates were soldout immediately, unfortunately....:-(

Now you can only buy them for about euro 100 each, from scalpers....

    But anyway... Enjoy the concert(s)!
  3. Foals + Cage the Elephant tonight - looking forward to it
    Phoenix tomorrow
    Newton Faulkner on Tuesday
    Tom Odell on Wednesday
    Jake Bugg on the 22nd
    Temples on the 24th
    Bastille on the 27th
And some other small bands too

    Great stuff.
  4. Just got tixs to see Kanye, some of my mates were going so i thought i may as well pop along too.
  5. Birdpen today
  6. I saw Imagine Dragons along with Nico Vega and The Naked and Famous on Saturday. All three groups were superb and I was pleasantly surprised that Imagine Dragons brought out a 1 hour 45 minute long set. Also, Dave Keuning from The Killers joined them for the encore.
  7. How can a band with a 42-minute album perform a 105-minute set? Did they just jam for a lot of the set?
  8. Dave Keuning

hahaha Kieran, I wonder the same. They do some covers I think (they covered Blur's Song 2 here in Madrid) but there's still not enough to fill a 100 minutes show. Unless they rant a lot, a la Bono before One... but before each song Imagine that, 5 minute rants before and after every single song. Hilarious.
  9. When I saw Tom Odell last week, he done a 90-minute set when his album was only 35 minutes long. It was just filled with crappy, unnecessary jams that made the audience look bored. So that's what new bands are doing these days...
  10. Arctic Monkeys started out selling out venues playing their 40 minutes album plus a few B-sides and the occasional cover (most shows under 60 minutes for a good few years) and nobody complained. Bands should do the same. Nobody's gonna complain about you playing your first damn album in full and maybe throw in some cover, standard, demo or b-side... Unless you charge 30 bucks for your first-tour tickets
  11. Pink floyd had shows over 2 hours with just 7-8 songs...
  12. Yeah and Led Zeppelin did 30 minutes versions of Dazed And Confused and Moby Dick... So what? I don't care who does the thing if the thing is wrong
