  1. The 2001 New York show ( http://www.u2start.com/shows/1271/ ) has a regular soundboard that you can download. It's not the audience/soundboard matrix, but just the plain soundboard. But if I want to download it, it says that I have to download several different parts from Rapidshare. Since I don't have a RS account, it takes a long time to download things from there. Would this be the case for this or do I only have to download the first two part like with other bootlegs?

    That recording you're aiming for is in FLAC format. That means it is a lossless recording: http://www.u2start.com/help/lossless/#1
    That's why it has 6 links instead of the usual 2: the FLAC format has more quality and therefore consumes more digital space, "weighs" more.
    If you still want that recording, and you want it in FLAC, you have to download all those parts. If you want it in MP3, you can ask for a repost of an MP3 of that recording in the Audio and video bootleg request topic.
