After having listened to the Rosebowl DVD, I have to agree with you that it sounded a bit overproduced. If you ask me, I think the Boston and Slane DVDs felt most "raw," but I liked the sound composition of the Chicago DVD the best.
  5. Discotheque snippet. Always wish it was longer.
  6. bring on SBS!!
  7. Anyone else ever notice how similar the main riff to "Crazy Tonight" is to Gilmour's live performances of "Run Like Hell..." They're pretty damn close.
  8. Sunday Bloody Sunday.
  9. the way the edge is playing SBS i think he's rediscovered the song...

I can easily think of shows that had better sound and performances than the Rose Bowl:

Dublin, Sheffield, New Jersey, Raleigh, Atlanta, and Tampa(2009).....And with all the focus on the picture...they let me down by not worrying about the vocals, which may have been among the worst I heard on the entire 360 tour. And to add insult to injury...cutting Breathe.

My lord, I love U2, but that was a poor DVD. I never understood the idea of moving the camera around like a 14 year old child on cocaine. Will they ever release a DVD where the HD Cameras and effects are not there...and just focus on getting the best performance?

Raleigh 2009 was perfect...and deserves a DVD it will never get.
