  1. Since I now know that I'm not the only one here who plays golf, and some other people appear interested in the big tournaments, I think it was time to open a golf topic.

    Anyone going to watch the Bridgestone Invitational? I think Tiger's making a fine return.

    Also, how did that nine hole round turn out yesterday Brian?

  5. Whats the average cost of 9 holes for you? In adelaide its about 10buks for 9 on a par 3.

  7. Well, since I'm a member at my home course ( ), nothing. Just the annual fee that was as low as about 180 euros this year. Normally it's around 300 for me though. Cheap for juniors

    And this isn't a par 3 course On a par three course in Sweden you'd pay about the same money as you do.
  8. Ended up with a 42 on nine yesterday. Very disappointing day with the wedges and short irons. Only hit one of nine greens, seemed to be in the fringe all day.
  9. Bridgestone is a very interesting tournament. Great field and of course on week before the PGA Championship in Atlanta. Scott and Day on top of the leaderboard has to be exciting for you and all of Australia Andrew. Bright futures ahead of both of those players, especially Day.

    Precisely the number I shot (a decent number at my course which is very tough). I shit myself completely on a few holes, but finished with back to back birdies.

    Today I played nicely for four holes. Then we had to wait so much that me and those I played with just lost everything. Dislike those slow golfers.

    Ya nothing worse than having to wait half an hour between shots. Really takes you out of any type of flow you have going.

    Yeah, it sucks. Makes me hit my irons 10 yards further in anger.
