Aw, you need to watch it. I would lend you it if I could. It's set in Scotland, and it's about heroin addiction & depression. It's a 90s cult movie. Trainspotting was also one of Ewan McGregor's first films - it rose him into fame basically.

No, it's an international film, you should be able to find it. I've read alot of reviews from American's on IMDB.
The start is great though, running down the street (Princes Street) where I walk down at least twice every week. Changed a bitch in 15 years.
