I just checked every Boston 2001 video. Bono only wears glasses during the first three songs (Elevation, BD and UTEOTW). Didn't notice that before...

I have the photo I took right before it happened.....Sadly, it's really grainy in the youtube videos, but I promise you it happened. Ask Remy. He was right there with me.

Yup, during COBL.....Bono actually motioned for me to hand them back to a guy one row behind me, so I did. Still regretting my selfless act to this day.
