  2. Really? Seems like that will probably be the case for awhile I suppose. Just sort of sitting around now...DVR'd tonight's episode of Beyond Scared Straight (on A&E), so I'm waiting to watch that for a while
  3. I bet there won't be much going on til at least the Achtung Baby Re-release. I've never heard of that show on a&e. Any good?

    I was watching the Steeler Eagles game tonight. A guy who I played high school football with was kicking for the Steelers

  5. we had the same storm over here around 7:30pm last night. I wrote it in the "how's the weather where you are" topic before I went outside...the sky was grey and black first, then when the lightening began it turned yellow, then red, and when the storm hit full force the sky was green we tried to secure a horse coach we had just been delivered but before we could finish it was blown against the wall of our house. incredible force, it lasted for a full hour before the storm and heavy rain eventually faded a bit. I can't even begin to imagine how horrible it must have been in Belgium at that festival. They should have cancelled in time, there have been weather warnings all day long.

    Watched the 1986 Self Aid DVD a few moments ago, it's pure magic, especially Bono's voice.
  9. One of the scariest things I've ever done, that's for sure.

    The Self Aid show is awesome. Bono's voice was just amazing back then, hitting the notes he did and the beautiful tone of it. Even now, it has a nice sound to it - not massively strong, but just smooth and sweet.
  10. You have the DVD of the Self Aid show, I thought not, since it isn't on your trade list.

    Bono's voice on the 360 tour has been one of the best ever.
  11. I've watched it on Youtube several times.

    Even at the end of Vertigo (third leg) also, it was getting much better then something happened in South America. Buenos Aires as an example, All I Want Is You. But when they hit Australia, and then the live Kite version on the Window In The Skies single (I love that song so much, loved it then, love it now) is just mindblowing.
  12. Yeah, and then came 360 with much more beauty in the voice than on Vertigo.
