1. It's cool seeing how differently they go about playing the guitar. It's awesome when they all start playing the same song. Seeing them play I Will Follow together is a lot of fun.
  2. No.

Watching a new TV show here in Sweden. "Thanks for the music" (translated). I think it's a bit like Elvis Costello's "Spectacle". The guest is Ola Salo, the singer of The Ark, a band that I may have told you about... Saw them live two months ago. AWESOME live!! Glam rock, not a type of music I listen to, but this band is stellar live.
  3. I'd highly recommend watching it. I think the guy who made this doc is the same guy who is doing the Achtung Baby doc for the re-release. Those three are so great at guitar.
  4. Yeah, the same guy.
  5. They show some video of u2 playing Street Mission in the early days and it is so bad. They have come a long way since then.
  6. There's a Gibson Explorer on the TV!
  7. Street Mission is a fantastic song.

Whatever music is on TV at the moment, it's bad. It's like rap and bad metal together.
  8. It's been awhile wince I've seen it. I have forgotten how great this movie is. Edge went back to Mount Temple.

About Street Mission, I'll give you that the solo is great, but I'm just not a huge fan of it. Hilarious seeing how goofy they look, though.
  9. Definitely. The solo is cool, and it's just like a bad high-school band attempting a high-energy rock and roll tune.

Actually, speaking of rock and roll gone slightly wrong, I saw a Stones video of Walking The Dog and it wasn't Mick, Brian, Bill or Keith who stood out in the video.
  10. Who stood out? Charlie? I've never heard that song before
  11. You've never heard Walking The Dog??? First time I ever heard it was on Aerosmith's very first album from 1973.

Charlie stood out. The way he keeps a tight rhythm and it never changes, visually.
  12. This show is great, I'll be back in half an hour.
