1. I'm starting back at school on Monday, not looking forward to the work load for the final year. Our points system is you do at least 6 subjects and you take your best 6 grades and add them up. Maximum points is 600. The requirements for college courses for the people who did their exams last June were released yesterday and the points dropped for Music by 50 from 470 to 420 which is good news for me. There's an audition on top of that too. Was also looking at Journalism and Media as other options to apply for. Medicine would be the toughest course to get into, you need around 750 points for that (600 points + at least 150 out of 300 on an aptitude test).
  2. It's not that complicated. Probably just sounded complicated. We have four grades, the worst one is a fail, the second worst is passed, the second best is well passed. The best is very well passed. I can understand if these translations get confusing though. Since your system is different, you kind of lack some words that we have.

You could also call them, fail, good, very good, and Even Better Than The Real Thing (That wasn't what I was going to say originally.

It just sounds more complicated for me because I'm not used to it.
  4. Yeah, it's the same for me with your system.

Let's just say that both of us are in a decisive, final year of a part of school that will probably have effects on the rest of our lives.
  5. Yep, probably.
  6. I don't know what I want to be like you do though. But I think it's gonna be in the direction of science... i love discussing things like politics and following the news too though.
  7. I'm feeling some very big excitement for Thursday.
  8. Good luck to both of you. Final year was the most fun/exciting/enjoyable school year for me, and most people. i hope u both give it ur all and get out of it what u were hoping to achieve.
  9. And if you don't do as well as you wanted to, it's not the end of the world. Lots of successful people never even finished high school.
  10. Pretty quiet around here now... Missing the 360 Tour
  11. Me too. Watching Rattle and Rush.

    Wzup?
  12. Thanks for the words of encouragement Andrew. Hope everything is going well for you
