  2. Watching the Paris DVD I'm about to send to you... This single layer version is criminal, the HD version is sooo beautiful.

    Long as it looks half-decent I'm good.

    Well I'll be applying for 3 universities & a college in a couple of months. Have to do a personal statement to 'make myself look good', get LEAPS organised, and alot more stuff. Stressful.

    Personal statements are the worst things to do. I can't even think what to put on those things, let alone actually make up something and write it down. College is what it's called in the US as well isn't it?
  3. Yep, I'm in my last year of high school. It then goes straight onto university (or college).
  4. Ahhhh yes I know what you mean now. My sister did the same, went right from finishing high-school and then straight into uni.

    I figured a job was easier and more straight-out.

    Ok, in Sweden we have "Gymnasium" after primary school, we gymnasium starts at ages 15-16 and ends at 18-19.
  6. A few of you may remember a few weeks back, I said I has reached the point in my life where I could make peace with my past and get on with my life. Having a weird fascination with numbered list I have made one of the things I intend to do to make that goal a reality.

    1. Get and shape, and lose weight (not specifing how much).
    2. Find shitty job, to last through college.
    3. Get drivers license, and shitty car.
    4. Go to shitty college.
    5. Have massive party, and tell everyone who didn't believe in me to fuck off.

    Also, not important, but I intend to learn to play the guitar, and maybe take some singing lessons.

  7. Aaron, I've been meaning to tell you this for the last 24 hours, and I know you will appreciate this... I watched A Fistful of Dollars, and wow, Clint Eastwood - what a legend. Great guy.

    Oh yeah, and it was a decent movie too. My friend is now going to lend me 'For A Few Dollars More'. Looking forward to it.

    If you enjoyed the first one, you'll enjoy the second one. Most people say that "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly", is the best one but I always prefered the second one.

    Also check out "Once Upon A Time In the West". No Eastwood, but it has the same director(Sergio Leonne) and composer(the great Ennio Morricone). Its slower paced, and plays much more on having the ambient, (including a somewhat creepy harmonica track) set the mood.

    And yes, I am a big fan of Leone.

    That's what my friend told me. Instead he said that I would enjoy the second one even more. 'The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly' is a movie I really want to watch but it's almost 3 hours long. I would have to watch it in 2 stints, most certainly

    Ahh, another movie I want to watch - 'Once Upon A Time in the West'. What's better: that or The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly?

    I'm currently watching 'Leon'. Very decent movie so far.
