  2. I'm baaaack (cos you all were wondering where I'd gone LOL). Hong Kong was awesome, even if there was a typhoon the day I left. Went to Macau as well, but other than watching the rugby (Wales vs Namibia) while drinking Guinness in a faux-Irish pub in a faux-Vegas casino and taking a stroll round a cool old village, there wasn't much to do other than gambling. But HK was a lot of fun.

  6. Thanks I was pretty pleased with how that one turned out. I've only had that camera a few months and I still struggle getting the settings right sometimes.

  8. Hong Kong is eminently photogenic, but the bad weather really messed with the light a lot of the time. Except in a couple of shots where it got all dramatic and stormy.

  9. Am I allowed to post pictures as well? I think this turned out pretty cool. Not easy to take good photos at night without a tri-pod though, so it's a bit muddy.

    Thanks, Olof. It was a lot of fun and really cool. It's much more sedate than a city like Saigon and less nailed down than Singapore. Great food, cheap booze, lovely people (most of whom speak really good English, which makes it very easy for us Anglophones).

  12. Thanks! That boat is actually a hostel in Stockholm. The boat's name is Chapman I think.
