Yeah, it's cool so far. Haven't run into any real problems with it yet which is nice.

And also wondering why there's so much crap music on it.

That's a shame, would have been cool for you to be on iMessage with us. Ah well - something to look forward to in the meantime.

Is there anything special that's really cool with iMessage?

It sends messages to people instead of costing you, just takes a small amount of data like 50kb or so. That's it.
