They don't. I think some newer players have them built in too. If your stereo has a phono input, you won't need one.
  2. I think I have the same problem with mine If I got you right, only on one fret though
  3. I'm in love with the sound of the guitar, especially with some reverb.
  4. Speaking of vinyls, why do new ones sound like they're at a higher pitch? It sounds about 2% higher than a recording - but still vintage.
  5. you're like talking in another language and another another language, lol What's that reverb?
  6. Reverb is when there's a whole lotta echo and then it slowly fades or dies out, yeah? Should sound good I reckon.

A guitar effect, it's kind of a type of echo, you could say that it makes it sound like you're playing in a big room.
  8. Oh, now I understand Thanks!
  9. The guy who might be giving me the player always talks about how good Achtung Baby sounds on vinyl - especially Ultraviolet. I suppose you'll be able to back him up, Olof.

Also, he is actually part of the site - Ross1441
  10. Yeah, I love my AB vinyl.
  11. I love the sound of vinyl in general - and having to put the needle on the edge each time.

Brings back a lot of old-school memories when we used to play a lot of them.
  12. So anyone want a bad webcam pic of me and my new guitar?
