1. 4 month holidays? Woow

    You went anywhere?
  2. That's kind of crazy, I stopped class on May,18th.

I've been to Milan just for a week end on June, I had a friend there until July. After that, I worked for all July time, and then I went in Dubrovnik, Croatia for a week with my parents and brothers, a very beautiful place actually

What about you? Have you been somewhere recently?
  3. Dubrovnik is beautiful Have been there a few years ago

This year i had 2 months of holidays. First i went with my dad to Macedonia, Ohrid, by car. Stopped in Belgrade for the night, quite a special city. Stayed in Ohrid for 3 weeks.

After that i worked for a week, then I went with Porec, Croatia with 2 friends Just for a week.

When I came home I couldnt help myself to buy another plane ticket to Ohrid. I love that place (pretty biased though, have family there)! Stayed another week
  4. Then you spent some time in former Yougoslavia I see I guess those places must be seen. I'll remember for a long time my Dubrovnik trip, but I wish I could have seen things from the inland.
Even if I have a special conection to this area, I believe seeing the remains of the war must be something you never forget. (Of course, it's not the best way to relax I'm afraid, so it's good to see both the sea and those places)
  5. War sucks, luckily the war never came to Macedonia. Cant believe it myself, but we even went by car during the war.

Saw the train NATO bommed, also we had to go over some wooden reinforced bridge bommed by the NATO. Well war is always useless, only serves some politicians and generals.
  6. Didnt see the actual train, but saw the impact of the bomb. *
  7. Anyway, shall show you some of the pics i took

  8. Wow nice pictures
Going to play some Football Manager and watch some South Park
  9. Thanks bart
  10. Wow, that must be memories you'll never forget then... You're definitely right about war. Considering the situation was really complex there (multiethnic state), it was particularly violent in Yougoslavia I'm afraid. I'm glad (almost) everything came to an end there, and I hope the area will remain peaceful.

We met people in Dubrovnik (mainly a waitress and a bus driver), and they told us some stuff about the war that was really terrifying. Their lives are still very difficult (the waitress even told us her house was bombed, and it isn't rebuilt completely yet).

These pics are really amazing I've got some that I think are nice, but I suck as a photographer I'm afraid

Hi Bart I've played FM almost all day long
  11. Well I have lots of photos that didnt work out Also pimped the photos slightly with Photoshop.

    Photography only requires patience
