1. From what I remember 2003 / 2004, people were saying the next album (HTDAAB) was gonna be called Solar or Solaris.

Which obviously was wrong because Bono prefers ridiculously long names for albums and songs.

  2. Of course he means Friday, as in 2 days ago, because that was last Friday!

  3. B has said so in interviews. Bob's death was an emotional atomic bomb in his life.

    Ok, never heard that..

  5. I don't think that was how Alexandra interpreted it. Therefore I asked so that things would be clear for her
  6. I got it right man He just sleeps not that much as normal people used to and not in the proper places lol
  7. Totally random:
I hate singles. They ruin the albums. I always skip singles. They are overplayed.

  8. They may ruin albums, but that's what helps promote the album.
  9. And they have some great B-sides as well. Not necessarily U2's as of recent times but others.
  10. I know...
I would buy Mylo Xyloto and Fallen Empires anyway.
B-Sides can be released on a (Prospekt's March) EP.

Most horrible are the lead singles. Most times I just skip Teardrop and Called Out In The Dark.
  11. I love Teardrop

    LIVE
  12. The kinds of singles that I don't like so much are ones like Magnificent and Crazy Tonight.. Not that I mind remixes but when they're poor remixes...

But yeah I think with EPs they're far better for B-sides and outtakes, but then most albums are so short (35 - 40 minutes), there's more than enough room for extra tracks, live, demos, outtakes, B-sides etc. Alice Cooper's new album, the B-sides for that and live songs (there's We Gotta Get Out Of This Place, Under The Bed, A Bad Situation, Flatline and three live cuts from Download 2011) - totals 78 minutes.

So why not just charge me a bit more and put them on there? Sebastian Bach is another one who did it right...he included a live DVD with studio footage, interviews, all the music videos and the B-sides were available on the actual album except just one on iTunes which wasn't that great anyway.
