1. GC was interesting until -mostly- Steve and Nick started to spam it right away. Until then, GC was a open place where almost everyone on the site dropped once or twice a day to say hello and have small chats. Then it changed to a continuous flow of personal messages between two, three or four users and the rest of us lost interest. Kind of what happened with Olof and Drew a few weeks ago No offence intended to any of you, I couldn't care less about how much, when or where does each user post (as long as it doesn't interfere with the rest of the site's enjoyment)
  2. Everyone is welcome to drop in when we're having madness in here U2 Sergio.I think we were like eight people here chatting earlier today. The LT sound was going of like a machine gun.
  3. I turned it off long ago . . .
  4. I turned it off the day that LiveTopics became available.

I lasted a few days, then it became too intrusive for my taste. It's specially annoying for people who listens to music almost 24/7 on their computers - like me.

Yeah, I was wondering what the noise was while listening to music until I realised it was that, so I turned it off. I can't stand other noises while listening to a song.
  7. I usually turn it off, but if I'm doing multiple stuff on my computer I often leave it on so that I'll know when someone has posted something.

It sure is annoying when listening to music, I turn it off when I am.

    I do too.
But funnily enough, the other day I was listening to some music and surfing the web at the same time, as usual. And then a banner in a page I had opened around one minute before started to sound in the EXACT SAME tempo and key than the song I was listening to!! It was legendary and I didn't turn the banner's sound off until a woman came in with a speech regarding the convenience of buying guitars from China or something. But it was funny, I should have recorded it. Banners change and refresh themselves so I doubt I'll ever come across the same banner again - and I doubt I'd be listening to a song in C#m again
  9. Haha, that's very weird!

I've had a few of these moments as well, it's funny because you may think, "interesting production" and then you discovet what's really happening.
  11. I'm tired, good night and may your dreams be realized!
  12. Good night, Olof!
