there's a whole complex story in mind coming into shape for maybe two years by now. don't know about that one yet.
Maybe I'll just write down my life. Never too young for memoirs why not. partly growing up in Africa, 8 different schools, travelling the Sahara, living in different cultures, growing into horse business, following U2 around the continent for 2 years, and some other challenges over the years. why not, if only for keeping the memories

Write it now and give it to me for x-mas. And give me a sneak preview

  10. my dad was hired as railroad engineer to build new railroads in Algeria and Burkina Faso (former Haute Volta). So my parents, my brother and me moved there. While he worked, my brother and me went to school there. Part French, part German schools. Good times, looking back. Swimming in the sea with our dogs. Learning judo from a big at least seven feet tall black trainer who always made me laugh as a kid, the scents and images I memorized...learning from the poorest of the poor that money or possessions don't make a person, it's love and kindness and tolerance, they taught me that and they lived it....all that.
And travelling the Sahara took place over a period of 2 months, with our caravan and friends with theirs, crossing some country borders, experiencing the most incredible sandstorms, seeing so many stars in the night sky you can't even begin to count, meeting Tuareg and all... yeah. that was that
