    You want to get conservatives and liberals on the same side bring up Westboro. They might hate them for diffrent reasons, but its nice uniting people who normally dont see eye to eye.


  3. Meh. Shes fairly unatractive. I've never been one to care about looks, but I've heard that unatractive women can get rather possesive. I still might get ahold of her though just because i miss the conversations i used to have with her.

  5. It could sure be an interesting get-together, I'm sure. But it just makes me wonder how can you hate something so much that it overtakes your life when it has no direct effect on you e.g. none of their children are gay - so to speak of one of their 'targets'. And Fred Phelps is the most up-himself ass I've ever seen.

    And we don't mind listening to what you're saying, sometimes you need an outlet to say what you need to. When I said 'a lovely girl' I meant she might not be the greatest-looking, but she might be really friendly, polite and intellectual in certain areas of discussion. To be honest, I find that way more attractive than what someone looks like.

  7. Not sure what brought up Westboro, but this is my theory about them. I don't think they really believe that stuff. Some of them are lawyers, and I think they know the free speech laws very well. They say the most outrageous things to get people to respond, then turn around and sue them, often times getting large sums of money. They use the media to gain attention. Even if that isn't true, they are awful people.

    Shes inteligent, brutally honest (I consider it a plus some people dont), and she thinks I'm one of the funniest people on the planet. Our senses of humor mesh perfectly.

    They aint really a church anyway. Its like 100 people that are related.
  11. Some of the best people I've ever met are women. They know how to hold a conversation (and a drink, too).

    I bought up Westboro after seeing a documentary about them last week, I think it was. They're extreme in their views and of course they believe what they're saying. According to Wikipedia, Fred Phelps saw 'certain activity in a park' and decided to have a whinge about it and here he is all these years later preaching his crap to the world, except he's done the unthinkable - bringing young children into it - a child doesn't even know about this sort of thing, and should be left to be a child until they reach that age of when they become a young adult. Of course, most sane people see the picketing as ridiculous and a little extreme.
