1. The same you have?
  2. I'm able to fly on my own. I'm over 16 - that's the rules of Ryanair. If you are over the age of 16, you can fly alone.
  3. I'm in Lucan, Kirsten. West of Dublin City

Ahh depends where we head whether or not you're caught by venues. City places on a weekend, not likely.

    Meant the pub issue.

Well, I probably won't be able to go anyway because of other reasons. But I'll probably go to Dublin next summer

Oh right, sorry. Yeah, I wouldn't try and get served, I would just sit there and give others the money to buy me orange juice
  6. ^ I'll serve you orange juice cover there.

From Adelaide to Dublin, just over $2300 from April 18 to April 30, which gives me 12 days or so to check out everything. Might even stay longer.

  7. looks like it's going to be one big u2starters meeting there - awesome
  8. is this open to 'older people', lmao.i wont know until after christmas due to work commitments but might be tempted to meet y'all.
  9. @Alan... Man, most of the people attending (confirmed) so far are older than me, pretty much older. I'd say the average age might be around 32-35... So you are feckin welcome

@Kieran and Olof... I really don't think you'll have any problem. We're going to try and rent/book/whateveryouwannacallit a full pub for us for the Saturday night (the night when the tribute concert might have place - still TBC thouhg), so I don't think there will be any problem at all. Moreover, one of my friends looks pretty much like a 15, 16 year old, and he wasn't asked ID or anything in the whole week we were to Dublin. Oh, and the rest of the meeting, walking to U2 landmarks, try and get to meet the guys at HQ, etc, all that stuff doesn't have legal age requirements so I wouldn't see problem either.

@the rest, thanks for answering and for being interested, this is really taking off and that can only mean GOOD news for all of us. Thanks and let's roll this on

PS. Kirsten... I've booked at Avalon House, at the same hostal we stayed last month. I liked it a lot and it's fairly cheap (18 € a night -incl. breakfast- with shared room? C'mooon!!). It can be cancelled without problems in case I find anything better -which I doubt- or in case someone offers me to share a room in any other hotel... But I have that, for the moment
  10. Avalon House - what's that like, Sergio? As long as it's comfortable and safe, it'll be good.

Comfortable, safe and full of great, young people always up for playing some guitar (yes, the hostal lends you a guitar for free - fucking awesome) or a pool game. www.avalon-house.ie
