  6. I also wished for more info about how the other songs came about and more footage of the 2011 versions. But they could've made it 3 hours long and we still would've wanted more. Hearing the original sessions though was way cool!
  8. my first thoughts after seeing it;

    it started out a bit slow, too much background info on how the band was up until the 80's.

    then things started getting interesting, and i'd also wished that they spent more time on each song from the album, but you can't have it all, now can ya?

    anyways, i feel proud of being a U2 fan, what an album, what a genuine group of people! it's amazing what these four guys have accomplished, both as songwriters but also as live performers.

    would've been great if for example other famous artists would have commented on the album/tour in-between the band's comments.

    also, 1/4 of the album doesn't get any attention (Until The End of The World, Tryin To Throw Your Arms, Ultra Violet and Acrobat). a shame, as most of those songs are equally as strong as any of the other songs on this album.



  9. The run-through of WGRYWH is awesome. 'Edge, when I start singing, try to create a dynamic...' - load of nonsense, but my favourite kind of nonsense it is just four guys and some other people talking bollocks for an hour and a half, but oh how I loved it. The sound and video clips are worth it alone.

    That makes 2 in less than 24 hours!!!!!!!!!



  11. Is it just me or did the BBC broadcast sound sped up (NTSC -> PAL 4% speed up). I certainly hope not.
  12. Seemed a bit high pitched everything, like the American tv series sound fucked up here in Holland because they dont bother to do it properly, just play it back faster.
