Holy shit, that is gigantic! That's like my Achtung Baby poster - it doesn't even fit on the wall. That is amazing though. And to think, that CD was once in my home...

  10. It looks like From The Sky Down will soon have its own DVD and Blu-ray release. The documentary is listed twice on Amazon.co.uk right now -- a regular DVD release and a Blu-ray version. Both are listed as being released already (well, November 21st) but with a note that delivery will take several weeks. Earlier this month, U2tour.de reported that From The Sky Down would be released on Blu-ray on December 9th. As of this moment, there's no DVD nor Blu-ray listing on Amazon.com.

From The Sky Down premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September. It's since been shown on various international TV and cable channels, and was also included in the Super Deluxe and Uber Deluxe versions of the Achtung Baby re-release. The documentary was shot earlier this year during the U2 360 tour and features U2 looking back at the making of Achtung Baby.

Currently £13.99 on DVD and £17.99 on Blu-ray.
  11. I'm buying it. I recorded it off my TV and have watched it twice already, but this is something that needs to go in my collection as one of the most pivotal point in U2 history and this documentary demonstrates that. The band are very open and honest about it and it's almost too honest I think, which is something not seen before with the band. When you see how hard it was and how they managed to turn it around and go on to succeed in doing it, really is an amazing thing. Very few bands or even solo artists can do it. This is why U2 are such a rare breed.

God, I love U2. The Achtung Baby period is quite personal to me though, as I associate it with a lot of memories, as probably U2 do themselves - the good and the bad.

Get this if you haven't seen it. !
  12. I will buy it (probably off a second hand source, or in a special Amazon offer) just for the moment when the Sick Puppy bridge became One. I have watched it 23904 times and it still gives me the same strong goosebumps.
