Now it's just $50 for the physical copy as opposed to $50 for all the material.

My friend got it yesterday, I ripped it to FLAC and I believe that despite that I won't go to hell. I've been a member for two years and I will be again when next tour begins. I have all U2 albums and DVD's (even one Blu-Ray) and I went to four concerts.

So, yeah, I burned that motherfucker and my conscience is still clear.
  2. We'll all be in good company if there is a "hell," anyway.

    - and there'll be some GREAT music playing.
  3. I don't think people are as bothered by the lack of the snippet between One and Streets as one may suggest. From a personal standpoint, I felt that the snippet between One and Streets is what defined the performances of the 360 Tour and distinguished them from prior tour.

The Vertigo Tour's version of Streets had Bono's Africa speech, and Elevation's version had psalm 116 leading into it. I personally LOVE the way Bono recited psalm 116 to lead into Streets, making it no surprise that my favorite performance of Streets is from Boston 2001.
  4. You can hear Pride at the beginning of MLK/Walk On

  6. just listened throught it. still got this bittersweet taste of the potential this release could have been....

imagine each subscriber could choose their own 22 songs, individually. the way this could have been a reality would be if each song was mastered with the same amount of crowd noise at the end, making each track seamlessly flow into one another when listening back. then you could choose your start song and so on just like YOU would have wanted the 360 tour to be remembered, not what a collective world wide group of U2 fans joined together regarded the best setlist. reading Adam's comments too it seems like he was surprised by a lot of the final choices.

i mean, imagine this was done in a similar way right after the Zoo TV tour ended and the only songs from their promoting album would have been for example Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses and Love Is Blindness? the rest of the 22 songs would then have to be filled with older songs like for example I Threw A Brick Through a Window, Red Light, Stranger In a Strange Land or Trip Through Your Wire. not quite the feeling of Zoo TV, right?

i miss vital centerpieces like Breathe, Get On Your Boots, Unknown Caller, Crazy Remix and No Line On The Horizon, songs that defined their latest album and this tour. it would also have been thrilling to add our own personal, rare live favorites like Electrical Storm, Mothers of The Disappeared or an acoustic arrangement of Desire.
  7. slight disappointment when checking the mailbox today - still no cd here yet. No love for the Germans the waiting continues.

  8. That's what we like to hear
  9. The songs from the new album that could have really used the U22 treatment are probably Boots, NLOTH, and maybe Breathe.

Unknown Caller was technically released as a bonus and the Crazy remix was done very well on Wide Awake In Europe.
  10. I still say the SBS versions from the 360 tour weren't all that bad -even quite good and I would have been happy to have it.

    U22-2 please.
  11. SBS from Duals is REALLY good imo I include it in mix cd's and playlists a lot same with Crazy from Artificial.

I'm going to lock U22 away for safekeeping so it doesn't get destroyed and burn the CD
    s them with
    COBL (U22)
Vertigo (Rose Bowl or Rock Hall of Fame)
    Crazy (Artificial)
    SBS (Duals)
    MLK / Walk On (U22)

  12. I might do something similar but simply put in a Rose Bowl "run" for Vertigo, Crazy, and SBS.

Also (and I know they are a bit "stale") I could use Glastonbury versions (the sound quality there is excellent) for I Will Follow and Pride.
