  2. No, not quite full time. I'm in-between full and part time. 25 hours a week, but I'm in every day.
  3. that in Edinburgh? I'm actually applying to Uni of Edinburgh for my PhD
    Anyway, my brother and his family live in Glasgow, his wife works in Edinburgh tho (one hell of a commute )


  4. Tried that couple of years ago, thats like looking like you shave 2 a week but doing it everyday. Bit hesistant to buy a more expensive electric shaver, since I dont know how much better it would be than the one i used to have. And the blades of those wear down as well eventually too, although some of them are supposed to be durable.

    For now i switch between M3 and Fusion blades depending which one is for sale at the moment

    Really? Wow! What course?

    I travel to Glasgow everyday to study and it is one hell of a commute - especially at rush hour.

    yep, electrical engineering...tho I might end up going somewhere else, I've applied for many places, gotta see how it turns out.
    It is a big commute...she teaches at Uni of Edinburgh and has to go there maybe three-four days a week...every time I talk to her it's all complaints about that!

    @Kieran I didn't even know you commuted everyday. In fact I don't even know where or what you're studying. I demand details! It's been too long.

    Not bad, hope you choose the right place to study! Where else have you applied to?

    It is, and the M8 is chock-a-block at 8 in the morning. I know the exact place where I get stuck in traffic every morning.

    Tuesday to Friday, I commute. I'm studying Journalism at Glasgow College. I would've went to Napier but apparently "there is a ten percent increase in EU students than last year." I should be moving to Napier next year as the commuting is tiring me out.
  11. Wow. Tiring isn't the word. That sounds like a horrible journey. How do you get there?


  12. Getting in isn't that hard...finding funding is the tough job for UK unis. Already got positive responses from professors in Edinburgh Uni, Glasgow Uni, King's College and UCL...but none of them are promising funding...tough policies on overseas students



    Lots of places in the UK plus a few in Sweden, the Netherlands, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland.
