1. I watched a TV programme recently called "Great Continental Railways Journeys" and one of the routes was through Switzerland. It really does look like a great place to visit.

The final episode was a journey from Amsterdam to Compiègne, via The Hague, Brussels, Mons, Albert and Amiens. Not much time was spent in Amsterdam though. The presenter started in the Amsterdam Centraal and spoke to a manager about how it was constructed on the location it sits before taking a boat down the canal (under some crazy low bridges) to the Royal Asscher Diamond Company to talk with someone about the Cullinan diamond. Upon leaving Amsterdam, he eats raw herring on the train

Anyway, Switzerland looked amazing. Particularly the ride to the Jungfraujoch station, 11,000 feet above sea level.
  2. Cant believe how fast that first semester went by.
  3. 1:25 - Great scene!

  4. Hi.
I'm bored and not tired enough to sleep.

Oh yeah, I changed my avatar, I was ordening music on my laptop tonight and I came across Leeds Popmart. Pump it up, George!!
  5. The studio version of Cut Me Some Slack, by Sirvana, is pretty awesome. Much better than the version from the 121212 concert, that had very poorly mixed vocals.

  6. I've tried to get into this song, but honestly McCartney isn't letting me. The man can't sing anymore, nor has his voice ever been suited to this kind of music. Maybe if someone knew nothing about him they could totally enjoy this, but honestly it just makes me laugh a little bit. Get back to singing "here comes the sun" and other tunes that you can't sing anymore, Paul. Should've retired long ago.

Maybe it doesn't help that I find the song incredibly generic, I'm sure it was written in about 5 minutes. Take away the star-studded lineup and it's a pretty boring idea.

    This.
  8. I disagree. I think his voice is still good, not as good as it used to be, but still good. I think this song is a great few minutes of energy. As to Paul's voice ever having been suited for this... I'd say this has similarities with a really awesome song called Helter Skelter.

Oh, and Here Comes The Sun is a George song.
