The final episode was a journey from Amsterdam to Compiègne, via The Hague, Brussels, Mons, Albert and Amiens. Not much time was spent in Amsterdam though. The presenter started in the Amsterdam Centraal and spoke to a manager about how it was constructed on the location it sits before taking a boat down the canal (under some crazy low bridges
) to the Royal Asscher Diamond Company to talk with someone about the Cullinan diamond. Upon leaving Amsterdam, he eats raw herring on the train
Anyway, Switzerland looked amazing. Particularly the ride to the Jungfraujoch station, 11,000 feet above sea level.
