1. I've tried to get into this song, but honestly McCartney isn't letting me. The man can't sing anymore, nor has his voice ever been suited to this kind of music. Maybe if someone knew nothing about him they could totally enjoy this, but honestly it just makes me laugh a little bit. Get back to singing "here comes the sun" and other tunes that you can't sing anymore, Paul. Should've retired long ago.

Maybe it doesn't help that I find the song incredibly generic, I'm sure it was written in about 5 minutes. Take away the star-studded lineup and it's a pretty boring idea.

    This.
  3. I disagree. I think his voice is still good, not as good as it used to be, but still good. I think this song is a great few minutes of energy. As to Paul's voice ever having been suited for this... I'd say this has similarities with a really awesome song called Helter Skelter.

Oh, and Here Comes The Sun is a George song.

I meant Band on the Run, my bad

Helter Skelter is awesome, but it's a beatles rock song, this isn't suited to his voice. Plus I still think he sounds dated and too old. Funnily enough I've preferred U2's version of Helter ever since I first heard it, and anyone who I tell that to calls me an idiot

I prefer U2's version also Don't know why but I find it too be much better than the Beatles version... Might just be because I love U2 Welcome To The Club!
  6. U2's Helter Skelter is better.
  7. Hard to say that U2's version is better but I have to admit that their version is brilliant. I'm also a big fan of Aerosmith's cover too.
  8. The U2 version is very good, I used to like it better... now I don't. The Beatles one has so much more raw power.
  9. I'm a Beatles fanatic and the original is great, but I think U2 nailed it. More mature, stronger, and without that annoying false fade-out ¬¬

The epic Beatle's "I got blisters in my fingers!" is unbeatable though.

  10. Please watch this. Derren Brown make a man believe he is in the middle of an apocalypse...
