1. BBC Four aired a programme this week titled 'The Richest Songs in the World' and it was a countdown of the top ten songs ordered by the estimated amount of money the songs had made in royalty fees. I thought it was quite interesting and at the same time, surprising. I'll post the list below for anyone that would like to see it.

    01. Happy Birthday - Patty Hill and Mildred Hill (£30m)
    02. White Christmas - Irving Berlin (£24m)
    03. You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin' - Barry Mann, Cynthia Weil, and Phil Spector (£20.5m)
    04. Yesterday - Paul McCartney (£19.5m)
    05. Unchained Melody - Alex North and Hy Zaret (£18m)
    06. Stand By Me - Ben E. King, Jerry Leiber, and Mike Stoller (£17.5m)
    07. Santa Claus Is Coming to Town - Haven Gillespie and John Frederick Coots (£16.5m)
    08. Every Breath You Take - Sting (£13.5m)
    09. Oh, Pretty Woman - Roy Orbison and Bill Dees (£13m)
    10. The Christmas Song - Mel Tormé and Bob Wells (£12.5m)

  3. 2012 was a good year for me. I feel 2013 will be a letdown.

  4. Way to look positively at things, Aaron!!

I feel excited by the prospect of the year. What I'd like to do is make an album. I hope that in one year, I have made one, otherwise that'll probably be the thing for 2014 too, because that's something I feel as one of the things I need to do in life.
  5. I got a group-text last night from a member of another forum I post on (through the Lollapalooza website) fairly regularly now, and I replied "happy new year ya buttholes" to the whole board.
  6. Meh, I'm cynical to the point where I can barely function. Fuck this vacation.
  7. Was that whole middle-finger joke during the 2010 shows ever explained? Watching a multi-cam right now and it's funny as hell whatever it is lmao.

  8. No it wasn't. Maybe it was something regarding Bono's illness/injury? We'll never know I guess.

    HATERS:

There was another GIF with Bono doing the classical orchestra director's moves in one of the catwalks, when he realizes he's actually using his middle fingers as batons and has a funny look in his face! THat was an epic gif
  9. I now declare this thread an epic U2 GIF thread, for the next few posts at least.

    GO!

Another member posted this a while ago in another thread.

    I made that one.
