They were just so good back then... and now But were turning it around! and the Tigers have been very good the past few years, wouldn't be surprised if they got to the World Series this coming season.

Making it to the World Series ain't really an issue. Winning it is. Them getting completely swept by the Giants was hard to watch. Especially since it all came down to lack of offense. Aside from Verlander's fluke crash in game 1, the pitching was excellent.

Also worth noting, that while I'd say the Indians still have a way to go to being World Series contenders, they seem to be headed in the right direction, given there moves so far this offseason.

Wasen't 95 the year they got completly raped by Atanta in The World Series?

Granted Atlanta had a great team that year. Any rotation where John Smoltz is your number 3 starter is rather elite.

I didn't really watch it last year so I don't know what happened, but I really think the Tigers could win it this year. And definitely lol, but we think they're heading in the right direction every year but they just disappoint... I actually do think we will be better this year though Not too much though

And if I remember correctly yes... But Atlanta's pitching deserved that (Smoltz, Maddux, Glavine, how could they not win?)

Ubaldo Jimenez is possibly the only pitcher in history, who was better when he played half his games at Coors Field.

All future hall of famer's, baring the writers deciding to make another statement like this year. I understand not wanting guys like Clemens, and Bonds in, but guys like Piazza, and Bagwell, who have never had any solid evidence connecting them to PEDs other than the fact they were power hitters in the 90's are basicely being held guilty by association.
  7. My current fav ballplayers by position,

    Catcher: Buster Posey
    1st Base: Joey Votto
    2nd Base: Brandon Phillips
    Short: Troy Tulowitzki
    3rd Base: Chase Headley
    Left Field: Ryan Braun
    Center Field: Matt Kemp
    Right Field: Jason Heyward
    Starting Pitcher: Clayton Kershaw

Yes I do, prefer the National League. I'm not gonna bother making a batting order, as I don't think there is a wrong way to set this team up.
  8. Game getting exciting 21-27 with nine minutes left. Seattle has the momentum.

Also, a U2 spotting, EBTTRT was just played when they went to commercial.
  9. Yeah again I thought it was all over. I hope the Seahawks can turn it around and make it a NFC west conference game.
  10. Surely they've won it!!
  11. Dammit, thrilling end, so close for Seattle
  12. A friend of mine woke up this morning missing a finger, and has no recollection of what happened.
