  8. I'm also technically distantly related to her by marriage (I think). I say technically, since the guy who married into my family(my great uncle. Nice guy.), is actually not related to his fathers side of the family, as he was the by-product of an afair his mom had.

  12. No, they in and of itself don't make it that complicated, since its only by marriage, and like I said, the person who is connection is a product of an afair, and as such ain't even part of his actual family. Explaining it is complicated.
