    The marginalization of Rush, why they're not really considered one of the big classic rock bands and why they're always getting bad reviews and shit. Pretty fun essay.

    Next one is investigating the definition of "camp" (as in campiness) and I'm using ZooTV as a case study

    So, I'm casually video hopping on YouTube, watching some sciencey videos and I came across this video below. At first, I thought it was utter rubbish because it's just a ball of water floating around; so I start reading the comments and one in particular set me off:

  10. A good night on YouTube always starts with Vsauce. Last night happened to start with the Canadian Space Agency, hence zero-gravity water demonstrations by a man that gets way too excited.

    Really though, being in music means writing fun essays but probably not having much to do with the degree!
  12. Just finished playing my first ever vinyl on my first ever turntable, had to be The Joshua Tree, sounded great

    My parents were like "Why? I mean it's what we grew up with" and I said "there's something extremely satisfying about taking a record out of a big arty sleeve, putting it on the turntable and dropping that needle, and just sitting there watching it spin and listening to the music" and to that they went "yeah that's OUR world"
