1. Just the guitar tone along with the playing. It's almost like finger picking, I can't see the Edge approaching a song like that. I have a feeling it's Lanois, but I could be wrong. All of the other b-sides on UF that have Edge sound nothing like that.

Again, maybe I'm crazy! Either way it's such a fantastic tune. I just had the Unforgettable Fire single playing on vinyl and the b-side is just fantastic. Homecoming live, Love Comes Tumbling and Bass Trap. Amazing trio of songs!
  2. Ah, I get you about the picking style - I had thought about it, but I simply didn't think it could not be Edge! Maybe you're right. I will make sure to ask him whenever I stumble across him when I live in Dublin

Absolutely. I bought that vinyl single for my father (TUF is his favorite U2 song) in a record store in a famous Dublin street, and when I got home and played it I realize how great it was. It's almost an EP, with 2 of their best 80s songs (ASOH and TUF) and two fantastic b-sides.

By the way, my favorite ASOH version is the one from the Australian single, I don't know if you've heard it. DIfferent (better, IMO) vocals, different ending... It's just the perfect version.
  3. "Recorded for 'The Unforgettable Fire' album at Slane Castle. One of the experimental tracks that didn't make the cut, it came via the Eno bag of tricks. In his case, we used a device that allowed you to trap a short musical passage and loop it ad infinitum. This exact idea went on to become the catalyst of an entire music culture called hip hop. Here we simply looped a few bars of Adam's bass, then I played guitar and Daniel Lanois played pedal steel on top." - The Edge, The Unforgettable Fire 2009
  4. AARON Whats up?
  5. Snap, guess it is Edge! Very cool.

And yeah Sergio I've heard that version, it's super awesome and I want to get it at some point
  6. What do you mean can you tell I like that gif hehe
  7. Nightmare?
  8. All depends on what you eat and how late ya know? I ate Eggplant beef potatoe curry and had some scotch and I slept fine with good dreams!
  9. The movie. I went and saw it with a bunch of friends. FYI, I rarely have nightmares, since I'm a total dream badass.
  10. There's nothing Holy about horrors, so you can expect to have nightmares when its an excuse for bad spirits to enter your mind, dont polute it with that crap. I know it too well..
To fix it watch a comedy or a real romantic movie, but no drama it wont work.
And dont eat and go straight to sleep and dont eat fruit at night time. xo
Ive had plenty of nightmares and I can say that you never get used to them and it ruins your whole day.
The worst I had was when a bunch of people were about to throw my helpless daughter over the bridge and I was out numbered.
Worse than and monster dream i've had. I woke up upset for a few days and it still bothers me today because crime is so common.
    And it aint impossible.
  11. Not to barge into the conversation, but I rarely ever have nightmares, in fact I rarely ever remember whatever dreams I may have had throughout my sleep the next day.

I also sleep like a baby
