  1. Re-issue Theory is an excellent site. It's good for finding out the songs and live B-sides that you wouldn't otherwise have thought of.

    It don't pay (obviously) but I recently got an admin gig on a FB page I frequent. In the short time I've been doing it, I've gotten the reputation for a creative sense of humor, but also taking no shit.

    Isn't that just called being 'witty'?

    been working in the food court at Costco for about a month. My performance review came a few weeks ago and my manager said if i didn't improve I wouldn't be working there anymore come August 7th.... haven't told my parents yet, so I'm a little anxious to see how that day goes

    (personally i think i've improved, but we'll have to see what the new manager says...)

    Hopefully the manager sees what you see. If not, best to move on and go somewhere you are appreciated. That said, employers, managers and employees - appreciation is few and far between. Just do your best, you can't do any better than that.

    It's hard to find work here. I'm not sure how it is in Virginia - what are the sort of jobs and employment offered there?

    I just love it because I absolutely love reissues, especially speculating what they will be (Like they do).
  3. It's a pity, then, a lot of the time when a re-issue is released it's nothing like their 'theoretical track listings'.

    How many albums can you think that were re-issued and weren't worth it?
  4. all sorts of things, but I'm good at food haha. Got an email today from a place I applied to a few months back asking if I wanted a job at my colleges bookstore for during the school year. I wouldn't be opposed to it, but I would be making a lot less than I would be at my current part time job :/

    If you had no other choice would it be alright, still? I think I went for a job like that recently - didn't get a reply but all you can do is try I guess. Keep it in mind, I'd say.

    At this point, I'm struggling to find work. I feel like I'm free from having to do anything much (and it's certainly taken a lot of stress away from me), but at the same time I'm struggling to find work. I'm not doing a shitty job for absolutely dismal pay in this day and age (I mean $6 an hour I've been offered). I'll work hard but not for crap.

    That's not even award rates!!!

  11. On a bit of a U2 rediscovery and I got to Pride. We've all heard that song live way too many times, it made me forget how good it is. Just listened to the extended single version.



    No live version can ever match that.

    But despite my justification, you'll all still hate me for saying it.
