1. Two days ago I graduated from collage. Now I'm officially journalist. The next day I got fired after three years. But oh well. Sucks to be young person in Croatia right now.

But anyway, my friends bought me The Joshua Tree vinyl as a gift, original edition from 1987.

That's the greatest gift a newly graduated journalist could ever get

Sucks to be a young person everywhere, but we have to deal wih it. 3 years seems like a long time now, but it's only a fraction of what will your whole life be, so... Walk on
  3. Fired? How?

Congratulations. What job are you going into? I'm studying journalism at the moment so I'm glad there is a fellow journalist here!

It indeed sucks to be a young person right now, at least looking at work related stuff

I finished my study this summer and since then I've been looking for a job but its very hard to really find something on the level I studied for and something that I think could be fun....

I'm thinking of starting a study again next summer, since I will probably move out and go living with 2 friends in Rotterdam, it would be more fun to study than have a fulltime job. But I will need a parttime job than.

I might pick up journalism too, it's always been kind of a dream to become journalist but I have a feeling that I will be very hard to find a real good job in that sector.

But do and did you guys like(d) the study? Kieran and Yogi?
  5. Great video
  6. Just had a professor tell me that it should take artists anywhere from a day to a week to write a song.

Didn't know whether to laugh in his face and leave the room or go on a rant of how long I've been waiting to hear anything from U2...

"Fukushima nuclear power plant radiation recordings of external gamma radiation have been so high this week, they went off scale said veteran nuclear expert Arnie Gunderson on Thursday after the famous physicist, Dr. Chris Busby told the Japanese people this week that radioactive air contamination there is now 300 times that of Chernobyl and 1000 times the atomic bomb peak in 1963, inferring that hundreds of millions of people are now dying from Fukushima radiation, including people in the United States."

Holy shit! I completely forgot about Fukushima... O.o

It comes and goes on the newspapers over here... I haven't read about it in something like 3 weeks so I supposed it had gone back to normal... Now I see it's radically not back to normal. Damnit. That thing is out of control and really dangerous for the whole planet. Let's hope that it doesn't get worse (although it probably will) and that people realize the massive dangers of nuclear energy (although they probably won't).
