    Weapons may be more deadly, but war overall is fought on a much smaller scale. Insurgencies, and proxy wars are on the trend. The last really large war was WW2, and WMDs have made that happening again unlikely.

    Yeah, I know that politics is forbidden on this topic, but this is so fucked up on so many levels that I just had to post it. It scares me that people like this live on the face of earth. Not just people that threaten to whole nations, but also people that beat up other people on the street, because, well, they can. Burt even more, it saddens me. Netanyahu should be at home with his wife and grandchildren and enjoy life, not call for more blood.

    Israel, and Iran have been enemies since before either of us where born, and this is the thing that pisses you off? Come on, you're trying to hard.

    Different mistakes. Chernobyl (and 3mile island for that matter), where operating mistakes. Fukushima, was mostly a construction mistake. Design was underrated for the earthquake threat in the area, and the seawall was to low.

    Yeah exactly. So we've learned from the operating mistakes, now we've learned from design and construction mistakes.

    Seems like we're ready to roll it out big time now.

  7. Well I think it is worth the risk. We're destroying the planet at a faster rate than ever, and if I'm being honest, it actually wouldn't worry me if humans became extinct. We're the worst thing that has ever happened to the planet and the pollution and degradation of the environment we've caused so far actually makes me sick. So nuclear power is a big step in the right direction. And if we all die in the process, well, so be it. The world will be better for it.
