  9. On 5th of November, we have Guy Fawkes Night (also known as Bonfire Night or Firework Night) in which everyone celebrates by setting off fireworks all night. So therefore, we celebrate the anniversary of Guy Fawkes being arrested because he was guarding explosives which were plotted under the House of Lords, and also celebrating King James I surviving the attack. It's quite stupid really.

    so it's Fawkes who was the BAD guy and you celebrate the fact that King survived the attack and Fawkes got punished for his fireworks, I got it
