So there is this girl, and we have been friends for a long time. Over the past few months, we have become best friends. Everyone agrees we would make a great couple. My issue is I think that she thinks of me as more of a "little brother" then anything else. Even though we flirt and their is sort of a "romance" to our friendship, she is a year older than me and I am pretty sure she thinks of me too much like a brother and not enough like a friend or even more than that. I thought that since many of you have had way more life experience (plus I vaguely remember someone else asking about a girl on General Chat), I thought you guys would be of good help.

Why can't people just be friends?

maybe ...only when the girl is not pretty or you have already have a relationship before or she is a friend´s girlfreind or wife ...

If he is pretty and you have fun and great time with her is obvious that you are going to want something more ...is my opinion ( and my experience)
