We just rang his wife. He has just passed away. I am numb.
I think my dad just lost his best friend. He and my mom just drove over to their house to give comfort to his wife. And they celebrated NY a few hours ago with best of mood.
No words. Just like that. Gone. If only I'd drink alcohol I'd get myself drunk like hell this very moment. When will this ever stop.
I'm so sorry, my dear. So, so sorry. Sorry for your father and for you, and of course for your friend's wife and the rest of his family.
), no "couch potatoe" or someone lame like that. On Jan 1st around noon he sudenly got thos typical pains in both arms and a pressure on his chest, but he didn't want to go to hospital. His wife took him there nonetheless, delivered him from the car at the main entrance to seek for a quick paring place while he walked into the building. When his wife came into the entrance she already saw people gathered around someone lying on the floor - he had collapsed and never woke again. They tried to bring him back to life for hours but he was prnounced dead, well, late that evening.
