  1. I'm pretty content as an asexual individual. Just sucks, because I tend to like women I trust alot(and I don't trust many), and find myself unable to talk to them, because of fear over where it will go.
  2. Finally decided I would start a bit of a music blog btw. Nothing hardcore or super official, but I used to write music reviews for our paper and I miss it a lot. This will be a lot more narrative-style than just reviews (plus Kieran is the boarder that has that market cornered, anyway), but the first post does happen to be about U2 so what the hell.   4. Great first post, Matt. It could easy relate to any music fan and that's what you want. Your posts that I've read in the past have been great - very well written, coherent and straight to the point. I'd like to see you do a few reviews too
    Thanks for the mention of mine: I do it because I want to get somewhere and it is a portfolio for me. Hopefully it improves my writing until when I finish uni and I get a music journalism job out of it.   5. I can announce my Winter Olympics sickness seems to have hit early. The last two times I've been really sick were the last two Winter Olympics. Well, 38,3C says it's time again. Dammit, I'm on holiday next week, there's no need for illness yet.

  7. OMG, I'm nearly at the verge of shedding a tear. You've described my exact feelings when listening to bootlegs, and found the exact words to describe my surroundings' (friends, family, etc) relationship with U2. And well, that "Yes! He ALWAYS cued the song in like that!" and the Desire/Streets details have made me grin like stupid. Way to go Matt, way to go. Happy blogging! You have a faithful reader in me

  10. I'm a little late but that was a great read, Matt.

    Your mention of the Elevation tour reminded me that I put this together and uploaded it over two weeks ago... Then forgot about it. It's a matrix of an Elevation show I love. There was an audience recording and an IEM, but I thought they might compliment each other quite nicely, so I laid them over one another in the above linked first draft and hoped for the best. It's a rough cut and any suggestions you lot might have on how to refine it will be more than welcome. I should mention that the song in question is Bad. A great performance of it as well.
