  3. Looks like I wont be home today, daughter rang and is stoked she got a job so we are going out for coffee and lunch so no pc or music today it's window shopping again and work clothes.
  4. The day spent together was nice of what I do remember of it, although I do not remember where we went or what we talked about but I remembered my attitude was good and not dissappointed. Yet I know if I jog my memory I would remember everything, I only clearly remember our parting as we said our goodbyes walking backwards was sweet and sad lol

    Yeah I wouldn't expect them to be much of a treat live - how was the crowd, though? With how huge they are, I'd assume they'd be pretty into it no matter what. I'll read the review for sure.

    What should I play at open mic night tonight? I've got space in my set for about one more tune.
  8. The review is up on my blog - thereviewal.WordPress.com and will be the first post. Can't be arsed linking to it, on my phone on a bus and I have already been chucked off the mobile internet during a post.

    It was an average gig, though. Full of 14 year old girls squealing after songs or when the lead singer spoke. Solid performance but very monotonous. A band with talent who can't really use it properly.

    Play some Neil Young, or Bob Dylan.
  9. I actually used to do a medley that switched back and forth between "You Can't Always Get What You Want" and "Walk on the Wild Side"...maybe I'll break that out.
  10. I haven't heard a single song by Bastille and I couldn't care less. I've lost some faith in hype and new bands after coming across bland bands like Imagine Dragons.

    It seems 'quality music' of today is based only on banjos, drum machines and dubstep.



    As for Imagine Dragons being bland, can you put Mumford And Sons in there too?
