That actually sounds like a really interesting lecture.
  2. It actually really has been an interesting class, who knew so much went into Instrumentation and Measurement... and who knew how much of my time would be spent writing lab write ups for Instrumentation and Measurement.
  3. I've fucking wasted the last two years, studying a field I can no longer stand, because my classmates are fucking idiots.
  4. Why are other people ruining your interest? That doesn't make any sense.
  5. I'll tell ye what. Get a better interest.

  6. I'm studying to be a cop. I have had maybe 5 classmates, out of 40+ who I would trust backing me up in a rough situation, and who I would consider unlikely to abuse their power. They do not pay attention, and they do not apply themselves. My only hope is that if they ever get hired they get killed on the first day of their careers, so as not to abuse to many civilians, and make life hard for the good cops. I know this is a horrible thing to say, but I don't fucking care. I would rather go into a hot call on my own, injured, and unarmed than have those fucking idiots backing me up. I picked this career field, because I don't judge people, and I pay attention, both of which I deducted made me well suited to police work. Just turned out I was the only one.
  7. I thought the Fradoca remaster was considered very good. Nice if you can improve on it! Shall try to have a listen later on.

I'm not trying to personally offend you, but this is a terrible way to judge a career field.

Those people don't get hired. And when they do, they don't last long. Trust me.

Got a friend who's been applying to be a cop for over a year now, having a ridiculous time trying to get hired. Graduated on the honor roll with a 3.9 GPA from a Big Ten university, bachelor's in criminal justice. I'm his primary reference, so I get the phone calls every time he has an interview - these people don't fuck around. If his attitude, application, demeanor, appearance, or work ethic is less than apparently perfect, they move on to the next one.

Stay dedicated and worry about yourself. Stop giving a shit about other people. I guarantee they're not losing any sleep over you, so you're wasting your time caring. Worry about it when it's actually a problem.
  9. ^ And you're wasting your time trying to reason with him.
  10. Yeah, yeah, I know.
