Why would you purposely destroy any chance of being happy? For fuck's sake, Aaron - GRAB happiness. You never know - you might just get something out of it. Being happy, for one. As for your self image - that's YOUR business, but your aggressive conduct in here becomes everyone else's business and makes it a problem for us all. If your self image/esteem is so low, don't come in here looking for some form of validation in response to your gubbins. Which I realise I'm giving you.
What you fail to realize, is that I'm as aggressive in real life, as I am on the net, to the point where my friends have taken fairly drastic measures to try to get me to stop. Being happy is overrated. It can go away in an instant. Being miserable keeps one wanting for more in life. It gives me the drive I need. If I was not miserable, I would have not gone to college, or be willing to work shitty jobs. Being miserable gives me an edge.
