    Yeah, really. GOYB is fun, exciting, experimental and new. Magnificent gets really monotone after just a few listens.

  3. Boots is better than Magnificent. That said, I actually like the Magnificent remixes over the actual song itself.

    I feel like I was the only that thought Cedars of Lebanon was one of the worst songs on NLOTH. What's so special about it?

    It's one of those songs to me that's like Beautiful Ghost or Dying Sailor. .. simple instrumentation but the words are so strong. Even Oh Berlin - it's like a sort of 'companion' piece to Cedars. Not so much the lyrics but the whole concept. Hope there's a few songs like that on another album.

    Probably the only songs that I don't listen to on that album are Magnificent, Crazy Tonight, Unknown Caller and depending on my mood, Stand Up. It has a great rock atmosphere about it, and still wouldn't have chosen it as a lead single or even a single full-stop. If they were clever, they'd have released two singles - No Line with the remix version of it, and Breathe coupled as an EP with Soon and two live tracks.

    But then I can sit here all day debating all the crap choices for singles, Hamish Hamilton's camera skills and lack of decent B-sides and the overpriced releases and the 'we don't like Pop' mentality - unless someone wants to.

    On another sad note, that's my short new year's celebration over. Roll on 2013 and 2014 for more epic nights!!! However, there is this:
