    i know this is terrible, its like people are getting all sorts of negative ideas now, and all i can say is this world is getting worse and people cant see it, but it has to come to an end, is all im saying...

    Nope, the world isn't getting worse. There are just more tools for bad people and with social media etc. everything is more visible.

  6. I agree with Bart. There has always been evil in the world, it's just a lot more visible now and we are more aware of what's going on.
  7. There, I asked her to hang out sometime. She said maybe. She was kind of busy, and coulnd't really talk, so I said, I'd message her on Facebook sometime. Kind of funny, she actually seemed to kind of warm up, once I apologized for the awkwardness of the situation.

    Not much, but its a start.
  8. The world is now objectively better, no question about that. A war between France and Germany is now unthinkable, combat deaths are at their lowest in 100 years, the number of people living in extreme poverty has been reduced by a half, people are living longer, healthier, etc. You just don't see this on the news because it doesn't generate a lot of shares in Facebook.
    Yes, the world can be better (and it will), but the general trend is indisputable.
